Tour description:

Day 1: Belgrade – Devil`s town – Kopaonik mountain

Departure from Belgrade. Drive south to the town of Kuršumlija, where we will visit a church from 12th century, build by Serbian grand prince Stefan Nemanja. It is dedicated to St. Nicholas.

Continuing towards Devil`s town and visit to this unique natural wonder, which was a serious contented for the  final round of „New 7  wonders of Nature“ in 2011. It consists of a group of narrow stone figures (2 to 15 meters high and ½ to 3 meters wide) with large stone „caps“ on their top. The figures are a result of a specific erosive process which last for centuries. The figures form, grow, change, disappear. Over the years, the process repeats itself, so each visit to this park is a unique experience.

This phenomena is very rare to find in the world and is unique in Serbia.

The tour lasts around 90 minutes.

There is a restaurant in the park where we have free time for lunch. Do not hesitate to try the local specialty – The Devil`s skewer!

After the lunch break the day continues with a drive to Kopaonik mountain. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Kopaonik – Župa – Vrnjačka spa – Belgrade

Breakfast (buffet). A walk through a hiking path (15 minutes per direction) to Markove stene viewpoint.

Leaving the hotel and departure towards Aleksandrovac in Župa region, which is often called „the Champagne of Serbia“, because of its wine-suitable climate.

Degustation of wine and a luncheon in one of the domestic wineries near Aleksandrovac.

Departure towards Vrnjačka spa, which was a place of healing even during the Roman empire. It has 7 natural springs with healing properties. It is also the place which started the tradition of „locking“ your love by putting a lock with your and the name of the person you love on a brigde railing.

A walk through the pedestrian zone and free time for enjoying the quaint atmosphere. An optional carriage ride through the park.

Departure towards Belgrade. Arrival around 21:30.
